I ride bikes six days a week and most of the time it’s a whole lot of hurt. Not to mention the warming up, the agility, the stretching, the core, the mental focus to make every effort count. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that riding bikes can be fun.
But the other day Tara and I bought some single speeds to ride around town. And let me tell you. These bikes are awesome. There are no memories of burning legs and lungs, no races lost or extreme fatigue experienced on them. They are untarnished and ready to roll.
And man, riding bikes, just to ride, just to feel the wind in your hair and sun on your back, sure is fun.
